Our Story

FOUNDER: Gee Addison-Kwaku

As a mother to twin autistic daughters who have epilepsy, MumRe-Ignite CIC is an initiative close to my heart as I understand the challenges, sleepless nights, worries and joys that come with caring for special needs children. Over the years, I felt isolated and lost myself in my caregiving role. It was effortless to hide behind labels, however, this not only masked my true self, but I also lost my self-esteem. To reclaim my true identity, I had to remind myself that I deserved to look after my well-being and pursue my interests and passions.

MumRe-Ignite was born from a heartfelt desire to uplift and support mothers walking the same path. We understand the challenges and triumphs these incredible mothers face daily. Our goal is to create a supportive empowering community that nurtures their spirits.

Get a few of the mothers to share their stories and ways in which MumRe-Ignite has helped improve their self-care options & established a healthy support network.
